Instrument Types

All of the ISAAC instrumentation can be offered as a MOLAB (Mobile Lab) service- our mobile instrumentation is particularly applicable for site visits and analysis in situ, and as a FIXLAB service at our NTU Clifton Campus for samples or artefacts that can travel. Our instruments are offered in close range mode and remote sensing mode (up to 10m) for analysis sites with problematic access, and can be ground based or airborne. Some of our instrumentation can be used to analyse museum objects in situ, from behind the glass of the display case, allowing condition assessments without the need for handling or removal from display.
